Stays of 1–3 weeks living and practicing with the monastic community: about 4 hours of practice a day, community service, and an assigned meditation instructor. A minimum one-month stay for experienced meditators living in the monastic community. Residents follow the daily monastic schedule, do service at least 5 days a week, and have an assigned meditation instructor. Applications are open for 2026/27; Marpa and Mipham cabins are unavailable Aug 1, 2026 to Jul 15, 2027. Prerequisites: 5+ years of daily practice, a 2+ week group retreat, and a teacher recommendation.
